It is winter and the temperature is low. When using the natural gas generating set, the cylinder cover of the unit is prone to crack and leak. What is the main reason? What should be done to prevent cylinder cracking during the winter when users use natural gas generating units?
1. When the natural gas generating set is running, the cooling water is insufficient or the temperature of the water tank turning pot is too high, so the cooling water is added suddenly.
2. We only add cooling water after starting. After starting the natural gas generator set, the temperature inside the machine will be higher and higher.
3. The natural gas generator leader operates for a long time, and the temperature inside the generator is high. The high-temperature water will be discharged immediately after stopping. High temperature parts may crack when exposed to cold air.
4. There is no cooling water after stopping the machine. The water in the machine is frozen into ice, the volume increases, the cylinder body and cylinder cover expansion crack.
5. Use the decompression machine to shut down, so that the high temperature cylinder cover suddenly meets the cold air and leads to cracking.
The following methods are used to prevent cracking of all types of cylinder bodies and caps:
1. Before starting gas generator set, should be to the water tank with warm water, winter season is pouring hot water 2 ~ 3 times, flow of water in the water drain valve, about 30 ~ 50 ℃ when the starter is preferred.
2. The engine run for a long time, should be waiting for half an hour or so after downtime, engine temperature down to about 40 ~ 50 ℃ and cooling water. After placing water, it is best to open the drain valve with a small wire to prevent sediment from blocking the drain valve.
3. When the natural gas generating set is overheated and seriously short of water, the diesel engine should be idled at a low speed for 10-15 minutes, and then the cooling water should be added slowly.
